Boonstra Transport has been a well-known name in the transport sector since the 1920's. Feike Boonstra, who founded the company, bought the first lorry more than eighty years ago. The state of the art company is now run by the third generation of Boonstra's whose know-how can be traced back to their roots as well as their current expertise and professionalism related to today's logistics.

The company has steadily kept up with the times and offers its services to shippers as a fully fledged logistics partner at the heart of the European logistics sector. In addition, Boonstra increasingly offers distribution transport in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Boonstra is located in Haulerwijk, which lies centrally between the provinces of Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe in the northern part of the Netherlands, making it the perfect base of operations for transport to the North, the Middle and to the South of Europe.

Today's well-organised company runs almost 100 articulated vehicles and employs over 130 staff. The company is run by people with heart for the transport business combined with a businesslike approach and efficiently organised planning which meets the latest developments in ICT. Working with state of the art modern communication equipment stimulates our drivers, office staff and management to take pride in their profession. These highly motivated professionals have made Boonstra one of the top conveyors in the Netherlands.
